Mapping Services
United Soils uses GIS Field Software to collect and record the positions of soil samples in the field and to map out the boundaries of fields. That data is then transferred to I.F.A.R.M Mapping Software. The I.F.A.R.M software is used to store the data for each individual field and acts as a collection point for the Soil Analysis when it is completed. United Soils can then print out colored maps and results for each field. Or, an individual can request a log-in for I.F.A.R.M and look at and print the data at their own convenience. The I.F.A.R.M software, for a dealer or crop consultant, is a top rated tool to look at a grower’s data, add yield data, bring in soil types, and use all these variables to make a prescription fertilizer spread map. I.F.A.R.M is internet based so it gives the consultant the convenience of being able to access grower’s data wherever there is an internet connection.
