Our specialist services are invaluable to the marine sector due the harsh environments to which our clients assets are exposed to. With ICorr and NACE inspectors who can provide consultation on how best to coat and protect your assets, SCA Rope Access are able to help protect your asset for the long term. Our specialist rope access painters provide quick access to ship hulls to carry out painting, repairs and touch up works. Using ICATS painters means any coatings applied to ships will survive the toughest exposure to marine environments.
MARINE INSPECTION
Through our partner company we provide rope access NDT technicians to carry ship hull surveys. Approvals are held for thickness measurements to hull structures from the following I.A.C.S. organisations:
- Det Norske VERITAS
- Bureau VERITAS
- American Bureau of Shipping
- Germanischer Lloyd
Routine Inspections can be carried out in dry dock or a float to eliminate the cost of scaffolding ships hulls.
Interim inspections that are required after an incident can be carried out whilst a ship is afloat. Eliminating scaffold saves cost and also increases reaction time dramatically. This helps our client get there asset back into production quicker.
