The Mechanical Engineering Department at Galletta Engineering Corporation produces concepts, designs, and specifications for plant equipment and systems based on our clients’ directions and our own proven expertise. Our HVAC experience emphasizes industrial applications including plant buildings, offices, and labs. Our designs have also included specialized requirements such as humidity control, clean rooms, room pressurization, and spot cooling/heating for personnel.
Galletta Engineering Corporation has a long history of material handling experience, both in bulk materials and discrete units. For granular materials, we’ve designed bulk storage tanks of all kinds, along with their feed and discharge conveyors. If specialized designs are required, we’ve customized screw conveyors and feeders, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and pneumatic conveyors to suit our clients’ needs. For individual unit handling, we have provided designs to handle small and large pieces (up to 2000 pounds) on straight and curved roller conveyors (driven and gravity), upenders, elevators, rotators, accumulators, and stackers. We’ve also provided system design for overhead conveyors for large and small items. Systems tailor-made to our clients’ requirements are the rule, rather than the exception, for us.
