Eldan Recycling A/S

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Recycling Services

During recent year it has become increasingly evident that an alternative energy sources has to be explored. RDF (Residual Derived Fuel) uses the energy content of the traditional household waste in order to substitute fuel. The production of RDF is the optimum solution both environmentally and economically. To optimize the process, it is important to reduce the waste volume into a homogeneous fraction size of e.g. less than 50 mm. The Eldan Recycling System is designed for size reduction of MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) such as plastic wrappings, plastic films, paper, madresses, carpets etc. System capacities range from 5,000-15,000 kg/production hr. The final setup of a recycling system for processing of MSW will depend on the requirements of the customer and the specific input material.

Input material

The system offered by Eldan Recycling for processing of MSW is modular and designed to process for example the following types of input:

  • Plastic wrappings
  • Plastic film
  • Paper
  • Madresses
  • Carpets

Output fraction

To optimize the process, it is important to reduce the waste volume into a homogeneous fraction size of for instance less than 50 mm (or according to your needs). The output material will be free from non-ferrous and ferrous materials - also depending on your needs.

Example of standard set-up (10 ton/production hour): 1. Super Chopper, 2. Overband Magnet, 3. Overband Magnet, 4. Overband Magnet, 5. Overband Magnet, 6. Heavy Granulator.

Depending on your needs and requirements on input material and output fraction we will recommend a Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Recycling Solution for you. As an example: if including a Super Chopper in the system, Municipal Solid Waste (including communal waste like plastic, paper and cardboard, wood, metals, demolition waste, organic materials, textiles) can be turned into RDS <40 mm at up to 10 ton input/production hour depending on type of input material.
