Today there is a greater emphasis on sustainability, ecological preservation and restoration, and more effective use of our natural resources. Normandeau has worked with many clients in the energy, industrial and private sector, as well as with government agencies, to develop and operate in a manner that promotes the protection of natural resources while meeting project objectives. We work closely with non-governmental organizations to preserve natural features and to provide recreational opportunities. The applied ecologists on our staff have a wide range of experience in a variety of environments ranging from the arctic to the tropics and that include freshwater, marine, estuarine, terrestrial, and wetlands habitats.
