Noise Impact Assessment for Wind Projects

Although last generation wind turbines have significantly reduced noise production, this could still be a constraint to address in wind power projects. VIE has the knowledge and tools to evaluate the impact for different wind conditions and directions during full operation of the project and assess the overall impact considering the previous background noise levels. The Noise Impact Assessment follows the ISO 9613-2 and as any other services offered by VIE, are in accordance with international standards.
