TIG welding(Tungsten Inert Gas). Tungsten electrode is used to heat the base metal and create a molten weld puddle. By melting two pieces of metal together, a homogeneous weld can be created. The tungsten and weld puddle are protected and cooled with an inert gas, typically argon.
