Materials Recycling Facilities (sometimes known as recovery or reclamation facilities and often known as a MRF - pronounced `murf`) are sites that receives waste from one of our own household or contracted waste and recycling operations, or from other suppliers. The MRF is specially equipped to increase the amount of material that is recycled and reused. Our sites offer sorting, segregation and baleing of bulk mixed waste (cardboard, paper etc) as well as the stripping, cutting and pressing certain commodities (copper, aluminium).
