OCP have widely used in agriculture due to their practical application eradicating insect problems and PCBs are being used for inks and organic dyes. However these compounds also effect human health and their toxicities are persistent. Despite being discontinued, they are still found in many areas around the world and continue to steep through to our foods, soil and water system.
