Alpes Lasers - Packaging Services in HHL Housing
The HHL housing from Alpes Lasers is a compact, sealed enclosure specifically designed for continuous wave (CW) or pulsed lasers. It is ideal for short-run integrations and challenging environments, offering a smaller alternative to the LLH housing. The HHL is equipped with a Peltier junction and an NTC temperature sensor (model 10K4CG), making it compatible with the TC3 or other temperature control systems. Its heat dissipation relies on thermal contact with a copper base, with the capacity influenced by operational modes and environmental conditions. For laser applications requiring optical fiber outputs, the HHL can be configured with pigtailed optical fibers, including Indium Fluoride fibers for wavelengths up to 5 μm. The internal Peltier cooler is available in three configurations: 1-stage, 2-stage, and high power (HP). The appropriate cooler is selected based on operational requirements, with the HP variant suited for higher dissipation needs. The efficiency of the Peltier cooler is demonstrated in comparative performance graphs, juxtaposed with the larger LLH housing.
The HHL housing is a sealed collimated housing for CW or pulsed lasers. It is ideal for short-run integration and use in difficult environments. The HHL housing is much smaller than the LLH and is completely sealed. The HHL contains a Peltier junction and a NTC temperature sensor (model 10K4CG), which can be controlled by the TC3 or your own temperature control system. Heat dissipation is performed by thermal contact with its copper base; the heat dissipation capacity depends on the operation mode and environmental conditions.
