As part of our group, DS Smith Packaging is the largest UK manufacturer of corrugated packaging to large UK retailers, making it possible for us to handle any volume of waste paper, large or small.

Maintaining the highest standards of paper quality and continuity of supply has made us the UK’s industry leader in paper recycling & recovered fibre. This has helped us to establish a global reputation as a core supplier of recovered fibre.

The DS Smith Group of companies holds a unique position in the UK market. Supply of packing material and recycled paper is possible through DS Smith Packaging whilst DS Smith Recycling provides the collection infrastructure to recover packaging from the waste stream after its use thus reintroducing waste paper for recycling through our recycling loop.

This recovered paper (and other fibre grades) provide the raw materials used in production by the groups paper making operations, DS Smith Paper.

By utilising the groups own transport division, recycled paper and packaging can be supplied at one end of the supply chain and collected and recycled at the other end – providing a unique closed loop scenario.
