These establish the feasibility of applying Group technology, determine optimum process conditions, and provide product samples for market analysis. The facilities in Hudson, WI are the most comprehensive of the Group with over 20 different membrane filtration pilot plants. The range of sizes available enables the handling of a few liters up to hundreds of liters of product per test. The accompanying laboratory is fully equipped with the latest instruments for product quality analysis.
A full range is offered to customers who require their own pilot plant or whose development programs require direct access to suitable equipment over an extended period. If it is inconvenient to use GEA Filtration`s facilities on a regular basis, it is possible to rent some of these smallscale plants to acquire a short term in-house testing facility.
