Plant Hire Services
Our Plant Division provides a professional hire service to external organisations and is always delighted to receive enquiries from potential hirers. Our fleet of 100 machines is procured from recognised industry leaders such as Caterpillar and Volvo, which offer suitably widespread and efficient service networks. We keep plant for no longer than five years and continually upgrade our fleet with the latest, most efficient models. Our procurement decisions are not based solely on purchase price, but take into consideration whole-life costs and environmental issues such as fuel consumption, noise levels and operator ergonomics. All of our plant operators are registered under the Construction Plant Competence Scheme for the appropriate categories of plant.
All plant is purchased with an extended warranty, to cover the first three years. After that time, we assume responsibility for maintenance and repair directly, through our mobile servicing team of qualified fitters welders. Plant is regularly maintained and serviced at the manufacturers’ recommended intervals.
