Plastic Pipe Testing Services

TRI is an independent third party polymer testing laboratory providing laboratory testing and forensic investigation services to contractors, owners, engineering firms and government agencies. TRI evaluates polymer pipe, polymer pipe liner repair materials, and polymeric materials generally. TRI serves as a laboratory for the Plastic Pipe Institute (PPI) and AASHTO National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) testing regimens. TRI provides a full service comprehensive scope of laboratory tests on polymers, pipe, pipe liner repair materials, gaskets, and component resins. TRI is A2LA accredited per ISO 17025.

TRI also performs standard tests as required by ASTM International, AASHTO, ISO, PTI/ASBI, NEMA, ANSI, UL, CSA, API, and FM Approvals among others. In addition, TRI conducts hydrostatic testing as required by the Hydrostatic Stress Board (HSB) and NSF for listing of resins, additives, and components that meet the long term test requirements for pressure pipe applications. TRI performs testing for cured-in-placed (CIPP), slip lining, in-line replacement, deformed & reshaped, point source repair, and sewer manhole trenchless pipe repair materials.
