Ports and Coasts

The Ports & Coasts Area develops its activity in three main sectors, namely ports, marine and coasts, working in diverse engineering and consultancy projects such as port planning and management, marine studies, and detailed design & works supervision. Regarding marine environment, this Area works on physical and operational oceanography and marine environment, its natural resources, marine environmental studies and environmental supervision of works, as well as in Integrated Coastal Zones Management (ICZM) projects. Intecsa-Inarsa offers a wide range of services comprising pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, works direction and supervision, integrated project management, as well as other specific consultancy and engineering works.
