KHT - Powder Coating Service
Powder coating is a modern, more ecological type of surface treatment, which allows you to quickly, efficiently and reliably create a strong, durable coating. It is a mixture of film-forming pigments and resins. As a result of such coloring, the product acquires decorative, aesthetic, protective and durable operational properties. This painting method is an important technical process that protects and improves the appearance of metal products and is widely used in various industries.
Powder coating is an effective process of using electrostatic force to apply powder paint to the surface of metal products, which forms a coating under the influence of high temperature in the polymerization chamber. Our production is equipped with a modern polymerization chamber (5000×2500×1250 mm).
The powder coating process includes the following stages:
- Surface preparation: the metal product is thoroughly cleaned of dirt, rust and degreased.
- Shot blasting: cleaning the surface of metal products from contamination and corrosion areas in a shot blasting chamber by shot blasting.
- Electrostatic Spraying: Dry powder is electrostatically charged and sprayed using a spray gun onto an oppositely charged metal product, so the paint particles adhere firmly to its surface.
- Polymerization: the painted product is heated in the polymerization chamber to 250°C, as a result of which the powder melts, forming a monolithic, high-quality, smooth and durable coating.
- Durability: Creates a durable, quality finish that resists chipping, scratching and fading, making it ideal for metal parts and high-wear items.
- Durability: has a high resistance to UV radiation and corrosion, making it an ideal solution for outdoor applications in environments with high humidity or exposure to aggressive chemicals.
- Uniformity of coating: creates an even, stable, smooth coating without any dripping, spreading or sagging, which can be a typical problem with liquid paints, does not require re-application, hardens quickly, fits well on corners and edges.
- Environmental friendliness: it is a more environmentally friendly painting than traditional liquid paints, because during the application process it does not release harmful substances and unpleasant odors, and also does not contain solvents.
- One-layer application: applied evenly and in one layer, while liquid paints require application in 2-3 layers.
- Optimum adhesion: powder paint has high adhesion to the metal surface, which guarantees durability and duration of painting.
