Step on the foot pedal and blasting starts. Lift your foot and it stops. That’s how it is supposed to work. But what if you notice a light flow of air still coming from the nozzle after you take your foot off the pedal? What does this mean? Don’t wait – when you feel air coming out the nozzle, it’s time to change the PowderGate nosepiece an inexpensive and easy fix.
But, it’s just a little air. What’s the big deal?
Don’t let the symptom fool you. Air escaping from the nozzle is a sign of wear on the nosepiece, which if left unchecked, will lead to wear on the PowderGate output fitting. This means you’ll need to replace both the PowderGate nosepiece AND the PowderGate Output fitting. Still easy to do, but more replacement parts = higher replacement cost.
We recommend changing the nosepiece around 250,000 cycles to avoid this potential problem.
