Gem Manufacturing`s precision wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) services provide economically produced prototype to mid-volume quantities of parts with complex shapes and intricate contours that would otherwise be difficult to machine using conventional methods. We are capable of 3-axis EDM machining parts measuring up to 14.5" x 10.5" x 6.00" from aluminum, stainless steel, carbide, titanium and copper, as well as extremely hard metals, such as tool steel. Utilizing wire diameters from .006" - .012", we can produce features as fine as .004".
Whether you need a single prototype part or a production run of up to 5,000 units, we will complete your project with only a short 2-4 week lead time, and expedited services are available when needed. We also offer a comprehensive list of secondary services, including plating, coating, and passivating.
