Program Office / Change Management Services
Companies invest significant sums of money to different development projects. However, plans do not count, results do. Program Office (PO) is a service where a company may acquire professional help to run the development program/project. Typical PO mandate includes e.g. following areas: Project objectives set-up and follow-up, resource management, budget follow-up, risk mitigation, project progress follow-up according to set milestones and reporting to Steering Group etc.
Solid execution culture includes also the definition and follow-up of the program/project Business Case. Business Case helps the project(s) to focus on right things i.e. keeping the “Big Goal” in mind. Practical “human factor” requires that business changes are planned and communicated. This needs to be done well and this is the moment where Change Management practices appear to the scene: what do we try to achieve, who are the correct stakeholders, why would they change their behavior, how do we get the message through, what kind of support the organisation requires and how do we measure change success?
