Project Implementation Services
In NHE we have a pool of engineers with experience in the different aspects of Project Implementation. We appoint a `Project in Charge` or `Project Manager` and form a team of involved specialists which he heads. Progress is monitored as appropriate at Senior Management level through a weekly Project Monitoring Meeting that all the Departmental Managers attend in person.
Design
Computer room with 3 dedicated CAD terminals having 19 inch monitors and running Autocad and Mathcad With a Plotter to print up to chart paper size papers . Experience in complete design of penstock, gates, bridges and other structures, plus electrical wiring.
Specification
Detail specification for both mechanical and electrical projects. We have a database library of technical information and experience of past projects available.
Costing
Our Procurement Section keeps a database of material cost information and can obtain specific quotations as required. Technical departments have detailed data on manpower costs for both factory and site work. We have spreadsheet templates for the main types of costing and can provide any level of detail.
Planning
As a requirement of our Quality Management System, each project has a documented plan in Gannt chart form. This chart includes all the activities and also sets the dates for regular review meetings.
Management
Projects with a value of over 100,000 NPR are monitored at Senior Management level. In all cases these projects are on the agenda of the weekly Project Monitoring Meeting which has authority to allocate all types of resources. When required we provide an Organization Chart for specific projects.
Reporting
Most project clients require regular reports on progress and costs. These are built into our planning as required. We have experienced every level of requirement from single final acceptance to daily progress reports. Clients are encouraged to visit our factory at Butwal whenever possible to give first hand input.
