Veolia Environmental Services - Industrial Services staff has a thorough knowledge of, and broad experience in, estimation of Refinery and Petrochemical plant maintenance and construction, including exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels and piping. Veolia will assist the Client’s personnel in the development of a detailed estimate, work schedule, work program and cost control system for each project. The scope and associated cost of individual projects may vary since each project plan is “custom-designed” to fit the Client’s needs. The detailed estimate will provide an approximation of the total direct, indirect and supervision man-hours, equipment requirements and costs associated with the project. This estimate will be formatted to provide a project budget which conforms to the project work breakdown structure and work schedule. The work schedule will provide a project planning and control tool and will include estimated man-hour and/or cost budget information. This planning tool will be detailed at the appropriate level for use by the project staff for their planning and cost tracking purposes. It will be appropriately coded to allow summary reporting to various levels of client management. The detailed work program is a step-by-step expansion of the project work schedule and is the planning tool necessary for the field foreman to complete his work. Veolia will assist its Client in identifying and formalizing the detailed steps required to accomplish the work depicted by the activities included in the work schedule. The detailed work program includes and references all necessary procedures required to complete the work. In addition, Veolia ES planning staff understands the safety aspect of turnaround maintenance and has worked with refinery safety departments to identify hazards in the proposed work and to develop detailed procedures to minimize them.
