Project Management Services
Caulmert offer a full range of project management services to support clients in the successful delivery of projects from inception to implementation, operation and completion. We can deliver project management services across many market sectors including but not necessarily limited to construction, industrial, urban development, energy, environmental, waste management, water management, mineral extraction, local authority and health care.
Our key personnel have a wealth of experience in providing project management services and a successful record of delivering a wide range of multidisciplinary projects from initiation through to completion within predetermined time, cost and quality parameters.
We have well established project planning processes that ensure high quality, technical and service delivery, and create value for our clients and stakeholders. We recognise that good planning is the cornerstone of Project Management and our Project Managers apply appropriate planning tools throughout the project lifecycle. At inception, each project is allocated a project manager and a technical specialist who have the appropriate skills and experience to manage the complexity of the project.
Throughout all projects one of the first key considerations are the risks and associated safety issues for the project. Whether the site is an access for one isolated facility or a large commercial or residential development, safety comes first. As part of the construction process even in the early pre-planning stages our personnel are experienced in identifying hazards and evaluating the risks of future development. Through rigorous analysis the findings of all risks can be reviewed and where necessary designed out or reduced in impact.
To manage the process further and to comply with current legislation our fully trained CDM Coordinators and experienced designers can:
- Advise on the CDM duties;
- Provide design information to assist others to comply with their CDM duties;
- Give specialist guidance on obligations for notifiable projects;
- Notify the HSE of projects;
- Facilitate coordination of health and safety measures by those involved in the project;
- Prepare, collate and distribute health and safety information including the Health and Safety File.
Operating within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy spread across our three strategically located offices, our project management personnel fully understand the construction industry, its processes, constraints and the ever growing plethora of codes, regulations and legislation. This knowledge - and our highly developed project management skills - provides Caulmert with a significant edge in helping clients maintain firm control on all elements of project delivery; the quality, the costs and the timeliness, without compromising on safety.
With clear lines of communication regarding specific tasks and associated responsibilities, outputs and performance, our professional, collaborative management style promotes effective working between all parties including stakeholders and external supply chain members.
We undertake a diverse range of project management tasks, from managing the programme to developing clear ownership and stakeholder commitment; from financial management to establishing the processes that monitor progress. Clients can select discrete project management modules, including programming, CDM services and risk management, or a complete integrated project management service.
