PTC Systems

We have years of experience working with PTC systems, and Herzog’s PTC Hosting continues to put that knowledge to use for you. PTC Hosting includes all necessary PTC back office subsystems, such as a Back Office Server (BOS), federated Interoperable Train Control Messaging (ITCM) systems, and more.

Centralized Expertise

Herzog’s PTC Hosting provides many advantages over railroads producing standalone PTC back offices. By centralizing both hardware and personnel, we are able to support a multitude of customers. This process allows us to work more efficiently and reduce our customers’ costs.

Infrastructure

Our hosting infrastructure is located in secure, state-of-the-art data centers meeting or exceeding industry-required uptimes and disaster recovery capabilities. We also offer regularly scheduled hardware refresh cycles and transparent software updates, managed automatically to reduce the need for your direct involvement.

Connections

We have been granted access to the Nationwide Railroad PTC Network and are currently working to establish ITCM connections between Herzog and federated railroads. This is the foundation for all of our connections to the interoperable nationwide PTC network.
