Radscan - Condensate Treatment Services
Traditionally, flue gas condensate was purged using flocculation/precipitation and sand & carbon filters. We used this technology until 2005, when we installed our last traditional treatment plant. Since then, we use membrane technology, which provides significant benefits in terms of water quality but also energy and chemical savings.
By selecting the size and type of membrane, purification can be pushed so far that the condensate can be used as make-up water to the boiler! Some of the recent projects were delivered specifically as raw water purification to steam boiler make-up water and of course they can be combined with the condensate purification. However, it is also possible that the condensate treatment is limited to the requirements necessary prior to disposal depending on each customer`s unique needs.
