Raw Water & Wastewater Chemical Programs
ChemTreat’s chemical programs for raw water and wastewater treatment are for the removal of suspended and dissolved solids from both industrial influent and effluent waters. These programs are custom-designed to help our customers protect their systems and the environment, as well as comply with state and government discharge regulations.
Our solid-liquid separation programs are needed to prevent the build-up of solids in industrial systems. These programs are designed to maximize system efficiency, and prevent any damage or down-time to equipment.
There are several methods for separation of solids and liquid in influent and effluent waters. Mechanical methods may include sedimentation, straining, flotation, and filtration. Coagulation and flocculation chemicals are used in the treatment process for water clarification, lime softening, sludge thickening, and solids dewatering and removal. In addition, we have specific chemical treatments for the wastewater needs of various industries, such as: heavy metals removal, oil/water emulsions, paint detaktification, odor control, and defoaming.
ChemTreat’s raw and wastewater treatment programs:
Influent and effluent waters contain key constituents that need proper treatment for suspended, dissolved, and colloidal solids. Our solid-liquid separation technical support team averages over 25 years of field applications expertise.
Coagulation & Flocculation
Coagulants destabilize the forces that keep colloidal solids apart, while flocculants cause them to agglomerate and drop out of solution. Our coagulation and flocculation solutions include both organic and inorganic chemisitries.
