HYDRAULIC MINI-SHOVEL FOR SLUDGE REMOVAL FROM REFINERY TANKS Petroltecnica have developed a system that can almost replace the workers necessary for sludge extraction activity. It consists in a special caterpillar hydraulic mini-shovel, driven by a remote generator, placed outside the tank in a safe area and linked through a water pump to the self-propelled.

TANKS CLEANING FROM SOLVENTS OR OTHER HAZARDOUS PRODUCTS IN NO ACCESS AREA In case of bad smelling and/or hazardous materials, Petroltecnica is able to carry out closed-circuit  remediation. This means that the limited areas are kept under forced ventilation and an air treatment system guarantees respect of set limits for emissions. VIDEO-INSPECTION AND RELINING A reclamation method for underground pipes using a non-destructive technology (NO-DIG).  This technology, widespread through all North Europe, avoids all hitch due to the excavations in built-up area or industrial sites that are usually necessary in order to put subsoil services (aqueducts and sewerages) back in service. Since long time, Petroltecnica is working in industrial plants, such as refineries, covering different roles and carrying out several types of works, but always with the same philosophy: offering a “No Man Entry” services.   Activities carried on by Petroltecnica inside industrial sites are:

• Cleaning and decontamination of fuel storage tanks.
• Cleaning and decontamination of refinery storage tanks through COW SYSTEM technology (NO MAN ENTRY).
• Cleaning and decontamination of aerial tanks, according to the international rules.

• Control/remediation of limited, hazardous and potentially explosive places, using remote controlled cameras and equipment ATEX certified for “0” zone.
