• Project Design and Implementation – We identify project opportunities, build partnerships with relevant institutions, assess and modify methodologies and create high-quality REDD+ projects in challenging work environments.
• Methodology and protocol development – We provide technical input to governments and private developers creating or revising carbon protocols and methodologies for compliance or voluntary market applications.
• Monitoring and Evaluation – We help existing REDD+ projects maximize their effectiveness by responding to lessons learned before the end of the project cycle, through timely multi-stakeholder Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Land cover mapping and analysis, forest monitoring – We have in-house expertise in remote sensing and geospatial analysis to carry out baseline establishment, monitoring, and other GIS-based processes.
• Project risk assessments, gap analyses, feasibility studies – We specialize in the identification of political, biophysical, socioeconomic, methodological, market-based and other types of project risks or gaps.
• Project Design Document drafting and validation – We help projects achieve validation to CCB, VCS, or other standards.
• Strategic planning for community outreach and Free Prior and Informed Consent – We work in a variety of environments with forest-dependent communities on climate change awareness, theory of change modeling, rural appraisal, and other field methodologies geared towards engaging stakeholders in project design.
• Participatory land use planning and mapping – We use best practice decision-making tools and technologies to help communities identify land use and conservation priorities.
