Roof renovation

The topic of “roof renovation” plays a particularly important role when leasing roof areas, as building owners usually refinance the renovation costs by leasing roof areas.

Leasing

Leasing roof areas has been a common model on the market since 2008, whereby a building owner leases his roof to a PV system operator. The PV system operator then installs a system on the roof and operates it for the next 20-35 years. In return, the building owner receives a roof lease against invoice, which he can then use freely if the roof is in good condition. This can be agreed as an annual payment, but also as a one-off payment at the start of construction. If the roof is in a condition that requires renovation, this roof lease is then used for the purpose of roof renovation. This creates a win/win situation with which both the building owner and the system operator achieve economic effects. 

Implementation

Solar Direkt GmbH is always able to implement projects of various sizes at short notice and then operate the PV system. Our own pool of efficient investors, as well as our own economic situation for implementing our own systems, ensure that the building owner can implement the project at short notice after the lease agreement has been signed. Projects can only be successfully implemented and contractual agreements adhered to if efficient investors are in the starting blocks.
