Powell Service Technicians are easily accessible and available to support customers with specialized assistance should problems occur.
During regular business hours (7:00am to 4:30pm EST), Powell engineers or technicians provide consultation or troubleshooting advice on the telephone or via e-mail free of charge for up to 15 minutes (during regular business hours only). After 15 minutes, or after regualr business hours, a consultation rate will apply.
One simple and inexpensive way a customer can save money in troubleshooting fees and lost production is by purchasing Powell recommended test equipment kits. In-Shop Parts Repair
Powell has a fully equipped repair facility to service parts on all Powell equipment. Items commonly repaired, rebuilt, or refurbished are:
- manual and automated control and shut-off valves
- pressure switches
- pressure gauges
- pressure transmitters
- pressure transducers
- flow meters
- pneumatic motors
- ORP electrodes
- and many others.
Powell may charge an evaluation fee. Upon evaluation, a quotation for the necessary repair will be provided for customer approval. The evaluation fee is waived if the item is repaired by Powell or if a new item is purchased from Powell.
