Osmoflo has been actively utilising Machine Learning (ML), a component of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to help our Operators continually improve and optimise the way we run our water treatment facilities. With a combination of the best expertise available and in-house capability, we have used our cloud-based Plant Connect communications system to transfer operating data to a central processor for training.
In return, ML and AI algorithms have been utilised to feedback advice to Operators to allow optimisation on critical process set points, dosing rates and cleaning frequency.
Using these techniques, we have demonstrated and achieved tangible reductions in energy and chemical consumption as well as substantial improvements to membrane life.
From our graduate program to our involvement in universities both here and abroad, we are strongly committed to the foundational experience we provide to tomorrows young water professionals.
We also partner with several leading organisations, research institutions and industry associations that support our endeavours of ‘testing the boundaries’ of water and resource recovery, and how we can collectively create a circular economy through the world’s most precious resource.
