For over 40 years, research has supported the theory that bacteria is useful in breaking down organic matter and cycling nutrients. A number of municipal wastewater operations utilize nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria for this purpose. Over the past 20 years, using the same logic, our research with bodies of water has documented excellent results in addressing levels of sludge, dealing with odour issues and ensuring water clarity. Our dream was to treat large bodies of water, which necessitated the fine-tuning of our brewing technology. Today, we have the BrewTus, which allows us to brew enough beneficial bacteria to treat massive bodies of water. Today, our most recent research has confirmed our bioproducts are beneficial in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), where the flavour and overall health of fish is dramatically improved.
