Revolutionary Solution for Diverse Contaminants
Built to Combat Bioterrorism and Save Lives. The original formula on which D7 was based was created through funding granted by the Department of Energy in Sandia Laboratories in New Mexico. Utilizing cutting-edge developments in chemical science, D7 capitalizes on the natural cleaning power of hydrogen peroxide, penetrating and disarming toxins at a molecular level. This specialized formula penetrates and eliminates pathogenic bacteria, sanitizing down to the molecular level to prevent future outbreaks.
Hydrogen-Peroxide-Based Sanitization Power
Although the exact chemical makeup of D7 is complex, at its core, the ingredients could be broken down as follows:
INGREDIENTS
- HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
- SURFACTANTS (SOAP)
- INORGANIC SALTS (LIKE BAKING SODA)
- HYDROGEN PEROXIDE BOOSTER
- Water
D7 chemically cleaves the spore wall, then neutralizes the mycotoxin inside. For toxic chemicals, the surfactant ingredients (i.e. soap) help dissolve the chemical into the D7 formulation, where it is attacked and neutralized by the hydrogen peroxide. For biological materials (e.g. bacteria, viruses, and fungi), the surfactants soften the cell walls of the microorganisms, which allows the hydrogen peroxide to penetrate to the interior for complete kill. It also changes the osmotic pressure around the cell, which causes an imbalance in the internal cellular pressure, resulting in the total collapse of the cellular membrane.
- Effective in extreme temperature ranges
- Kills a minimum of 99.9999 percent of bacteria† in biofilm
- Broad-spectrum disinfectant, cleaner, deodorizer, and food contact sanitizer**
- Process saves time, prevents outbreaks, and halts future growth
- Does not require mechanical action
- D7 has a final pH of 9.8
- Free of abrasives; no VOCs
- Water-soluble and colorfast
†Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
**A potable water rinse is required after application on food contact surfaces.
