In 1925, Max Rhodius founded a small family business in the centre of Weissenburg to manufacture simple knitted wire mesh for scourers. The company started out with four in-house staff and a number of remote employees.

With expertise acquired over many years, the company has gone from producing simple knitted-wire-mesh components, to filtration elements and other modules in the automotive and knitted mesh & separation sectors, to entire systems for OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
And it will continue to expand this approach internationally.

Multiple production facilities and sales offices all over the globe ensure we’re close to our customers, and are able to respond to their requests and requirements faster and more flexibly.

The company’s headquarters in Weissenburg is a development & production site, as well as an administrative centre. All of the group’s administrative processes are managed from Weissenburg. The Weissenburg facility is responsible for developing all products and processes. And just like at the main headquarters, quality and flexibility also take top priority at the company’s three production facilities in Laage (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Tapolca (Hungary) and near Shanghai (China).
