Risk Assessment Services
A Legionella risk assessment is the ‘Primary’ step towards compliance as well as reducing the risks at your site. the requirement for completing a risk assessment is enforceable under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH Regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). This legal obligation will consider the risks from legionella and other bacteria that may affect people using your premises and advice on suitable precautions to control these risks.
Our water safety consultants offer the following credentials;
- City and Guilds Certificate in carrying out Legionella risk assessments
- Members of the Water Management Society
- Over 10 years’ experience in assessing risks
Our risk assessment report allows the site management to qualify or investigate any remedial or on-going works. The site information gathered will enable the responsible person to set-up all risk control measures. Typically the report will provide the following as standard;
- Asset list of all ‘at risk’ plant
- Digital photographs of non-compliance and key items of plant
- Schematic drawings
- Prioritised list of recommendations
- Schedule for on-going monitoring
Economies of Scale
As an independent company we have no vested interest in remedial works such as tank cleaning or plumbing and have no products for sale such as water treatment chemicals. Over recent years our clients have also benefited from combining the legionella assessment with a ‘safe’ hot water assessment (scalding).
