GZA has experience assisting clients in conducting vulnerability assessments for industrial facilities, institutions, dams, reservoirs, community water supplies and other high-risk processes and installations. In addition, we prepare emergency response plans (ERPs) and emergency action plans (EAPs) as part of a proactive management plan or to meet regulatory requirements.
GZA possesses extensive capability in determining the type and toxicity of agents, extent and persistence of the agent and prudent mitigation approaches. GZA also provides clearance monitoring to assure that acceptable reduced risk levels are achieved. Our vulnerability assessments determine the level of risk catastrophic events may have on the health and safety of employees and the surrounding community. A goal of this effort is to evaluate emergency scenarios and develop corresponding response actions that reduce the potential impact on a facility`s operation while maintaining overall profitability.GZA has developed a vulnerability assessment checklist that provides a comprehensive review of a facility`s vulnerability to threats. We provide training to facility operations personnel, managers and executives on ERPs/EAPs to assure proper implementation. GZA`s training program includes the staging and implementation of mock drills to evaluate effectiveness. GZA`s consulting services also include frequent client updates on new response tools and developments related to ERPs/EAPs, including listings of the latest real-time databases needed by emergency responders.
