Settentrionale Trasporti supplies road haulage services nationally and internationally, thanks to its large number of vehicles and efficient logistic organization which enable its drivers to deliver large quantities of goods and waste materials according to schedule. The company can guarantee its clients the highest level of preparedness, promptness and punctuality on delivery timetable, as well as protection and safety of the goods being forwarded.
Settentrionale Trasporti deals mainly with the transportation of special hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in addition to the standard services of forwarding dangerous goods.
Specifically, Settentrionale Trasporti supplies the following services:
- transportation of special waste materials and special hazardous waste
- transportation of municipal waste
- transportation of dangerous goods according to A.D.R. regulations classes 2, 3, 4.1, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.2, 8, 9.
- transportation of packaged, bulk, solid (trailer body, container or silo) and liquid (tanker or tank-container) goods
- transportation of abnormal loads (with third party technical escort service if required)
- transportation of plant equipment and machinery
When a vehicle in on the road, the headquarters staffs need to be able to track it down 24 hours a day and the drivers must keep in touch at all times with the main office. That’s why all vehicles belonging to Settentrionale Trasporti are permanently monitored by a GPS tracker (which proves useful also as an anti-theft system) and all drivers are equipped with the latest generation of mobile phones to receive orders, assistance, updating and routes.
