If we are unable to roll-form the section you are looking for or the quantities dictate that it is not viable then we would look to at press-forming as an alternative to rolling. Using this method we can form sections up to 7300mm long and up to 12.5mm thick and is complimented by our laser and fabrication departments.

We house some of the largest rolling mills in the UK, which have the capacity of producing zed sections up to 4mm thick x 400mm deep and cee sections up to 6mm thick x 500mm deep.

Alongside our Standard range of Purlins, Side Rails and Mezzanine Beams, BW’s 10 rollforming lines currently supply sections to a wide variety of industries including the construction and building industries, modular and portable accommodation, anti-vandal units, steel shipping containers and silos, trailers, caravans and general engineering.
