Roster Review

The Ministry of the Environment established the Roster of Approved Professionals to reduce its backlog and allow it to focus on high-risk sites. Under the Environmental Management Act, ministry officials may issue, based on the recommendation of these Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals, a contaminated sites legal instrument such as a Certificate of Compliance or Determination, without internal review.
