Routine Ecotoxicity Testing Service
AquaTox offers comprehensive and integrative ecotoxicity testing and consulting services to a variety of industrial sectors, including pulp and paper, metal mining, petrochemical, municipal sewage treatment plants, aggregate, and manufacturing. Our laboratory, which has been providing testing services to industry and government since 1970, is one of the largest and most respected toxicity testing laboratories in Canada. Our approximately 10,000 square foot facility is located near Toronto, and is responsible for more then 5,000 tests per year.
Our technical laboratory staff provide specialized testing services that range from performing biomonitoring studies for compliance purposes, to in-depth analyses of complex ecotoxicity issues. these services are supported by our scientific and professional consulting staff, who assists with data interpretation, negotiations with regulatory agencies, and the design of cost-effective solutions that reflect the economic realities of the global economy. We have an established Quality Assurance Program and are accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA formerly CAEAL). Our lab is recognized by the Standard Council of Canada (SCC) as a GLP compliant facility. Aquatox has also participated in DMR-QA proficiency Testing.
