Safety Testing Services
Safety Testing - Be safe and be sure. We can carry out electrical safety testing in our fully accredited laboratories or at your own site (Testing at Manufacturer’s Premises, TMP). Our consultant engineers are able to test a variety of products and equipment including information technology, telecommunication, white goods, brown goods and laboratory products.
Our effective TMP service allows us to schedule testing at very short notice and to complete most test programmes within 3-4 working days. This service gives you the greatest opportunity to obtain compliance in the shortest possible timescales. Our engineers are always on hand to assist you in fixing non-compliances and in tracking down component approval documentation.
Our testing, whether carried out in our laboratory or at your own site, is covered by our internationally accepted CB-scheme accreditation issued in accordance with ISO 17025. In addition we are appointed by the DTI as a Notified Body under the Low Voltage Directive (2006/95/EC).

Our findings are detailed in a comprehensive report, which includes:
- A summary statement briefly detailing if, in our opinion, the product construction meets the essential requirements of the Low Voltage Directive
- Observations and comments noted during the assessment
- A comprehensive list of non-compliances
- A summary of safety critical components and materials
- Guidance on supporting documentation required for critical components and materials
- A recommendation of any tests we feel are required to supplement the assessment
