When purchasing new production or surplus scrap, Alchemy will ensure that it is graded as economically as possible into the best sales bands and employ`s the following systems to make sure that outgoing material`s are transported as economically as possible, these same systems are also used for security destruction of sensitive and highly sensitive metals. Video evidence and on-site viewing of security destruction can also be catered for subject to the customers requirements
Sorting
Where viable metals will be sorted into their correct specification and sales category ensuring our customers receive premium pricing.
Baling
Metals baled for security destruction as well as maximising the weight on outgoing transport ensuring each load is as economical as possible.
Shredding & Shearing
Metals shredded / Sheared for security destruction as well as reducing oversize metals to foundry size sections, therefore maximising the weight on outgoing transport ensuring each load is as economical and environmentally friendly as possible.
Nibbling
The Nibbler bites chunks out of sensitive metals ensuring they cannot be reused or sold out into the open market.
Guillotine
Our guillotine will reduce long length extrusions, rods, bars, tubes etc. down to foundry size sections ensuring the saleability of this waste as well as being transport and environmentally friendly.

Our grab works wonders with squeezing the life out of many different forms of metals ensuring they cannot be reused or sold out into the open market.
Plasma Cutting
Our plasma will cut through Aluminium and Stainless like butter, we have used this efficient method in many ways including on-site destruction of Beer casks and kegs.
Disc Cutting
Disc cutters are used to take samples for grade analysis as well as cleaning contaminated metals by cutting off the contaminants, this ensures the maximum saleability of our scrap as well as our customer¹s financial return. We also use this simple tool to reduce oversize metal down to foundry size sections.
Fragging
The ultimate force of destruction, the teeth on the frag will reduce many products down to hand-size pieces. One of our prestigious accounts uses this method to destroy test crash cars.
