The LFKW supports municipalities, businesses and engineer firms with further services: from the establishment of tailor-made laboratory facilities and the rental of pumps, samplers and measurement equipment; to the rental of a complete pilot plant for wastewater, sludge, and air treatment including transportation, installation and start-up.

Complete Pilot Plant

Activated Sludge System for Biological Wastewater Treatment consisting of:

  • Divisible, modular, stainless steel Aeration Tanks (usable capacity form about 0.7 to 5.0 m³)
  • Stainless steel clarifier ( 2 m³ vol., 2 m² surf. area)
  • Feed pump with a magnetic flow meter
  • In special cases, an agitator for the denitrification process
  • Return sludge pump and circulation pump with magnetic flow meter in the internal flow loop
  • Side channel blowers, aerators, and power distribution system
  • Hose connections and valves
  • Cooled inlet and outlet samplers
  • Scaffolding for the installation and operation of the aeration tank
  • In special cases, a canopy

Biofilter Waste Air Treatment consisting of:

  • Stainless steel tank with hollow base and lid ( usable vol. of about 1,5 or 3,0 m³ )
  • Packing material of your choice
  • Compressor

Anaerobic Reactors for the Digestion of Sewage Sludge and Organic Waste or for the Anaerobic Treatment of Concentrated Organic Wastewater consisting of:

  • Stainless steel reactor with internal heat exchanger ( usable volumes of 170, 210 or 250 liters )
  • Mohnopump for the circulation of the reactor contents
  • Circulation thermostat for the constant adjustment of the reactor temperature
  • Condensate trap and gas meter in the gas stream
  • Manometer, Thermometer
  • Interconnections, valves, and safety valve
  • Special technical measuring equipment upon Request

Possible Investigation Aims:

  • Appraisal of the general applicability of the considered process and its efficiency
  • Preparation of design data
  • Determination of the volume and composition of the emitted gasses
