Short and Long Pipe Relining Services
In this procedure individual 'stiff' pipes are lifted up and put into an insertion device then thrust in tact into the sewer section that is to be rehabilitated. Depending on the material of the pipe, this system can be used for both pressure and open channels in the drinking water, waste water and industrial sectors. The individual pipes are made of GRP, PVC or HDPE. The use of the system is possible for both circular and egg-shaped profiles of diameter DN 200 - 2600 mm.
For the insertion device a starting construction ditch must be excavated which has to be secured adequately. The connection of the individual pipes is performed in the starting excavation (in special cases it is also implemented in the section to be rehabilitated). The length in straight lines is up to 150 m. Elbows and bends up to 3° can be mastered by the mobility in the couplings. Because of the fact that the maximum moveable exterior diameter must be smaller than the smallest pipe section, an annular gap is formed, which is usually filled. The connection between the rehabilitated and existing pipe is made by special components, which are adapted to the respective pipe material.
