KHT - Shot Blasting of Metal Products Service
Shot blasting of metal products is a technological process that uses abrasive materials to clean, finish and polish metal surfaces. This process allows you to remove various types of contamination, corrosion, and paint from the metal surface by shot blasting. This treatment is popular in the metalworking, automotive, and other industries where metal products need to be cleaned, treated, or prepared for polishing or painting.
Our production is equipped with a modern shot blast chamber, the internal size of which is: 1950mm×1950mm×3000mm. The height of the part: up to 2600 mm.
Shot blasting ensures high quality, speed of execution, the possibility of processing complex shapes and increases the strength, wear resistance and aesthetic appearance of metal products.
The process of shot blasting of metal products:
- Preparation of the part: before processing, the metal part can undergo preliminary cleaning from dirt, rust, paint or old coating. This can be done by mechanical, chemical or heat treatment.
- Processing of the part: the process of shot blasting of metal includes the direction of the jet of shot on the surface of the part. After contact with the surface, abrasive materials clean a layer of dirt, oxides, paint or other coatings.
- Inspection of the part: after processing the part, the quality of the processing should be checked and the part should be cleaned of abrasive materials that remained on the surface. If necessary, the part is prepared for the next process (for example, powder coating).
