Slope Stabilization Services

With today’s tightly regulated construction sites, contractors can take advantage of Bio Mass Tech’s extensive experience with Bonded Fiber Matrix Hydro-Mulch. Applying a Hydro-Mulch Erosion Control Blanket is far more effective than traditional erosion control blankets with the sandy soils that we have in Florida. When sandy slopes get saturated the sand will liquify and flow right through the erosion control blankets, which can cause a hazard. Many times the erosion control blanket will stay tight along the slope with a large ravine beneath the blanket that can result in an injury if someone walks on the slope. Traditional erosion control blankets also contain netting that can be hazardous to birds and small wildlife.

High Strength Polyacrylamides

Bio Mass Tech, Inc. was one of the first companies in Florida to offer polymers to stabilize and cover stockpiles. NPDES permitting requires that all construction sites install BMP’s. Stockpile covering is the ideal task for our polymers. Our polymers are specifically engineered for their applications.

Dust control is a major concern in today’s construction industry. Dust can be hazardous to the health of workforce and the surrounding residents. The price of fuel along with water restrictions is making the use of polymers very economical alternative to the use of traditional water trucks constantly watering the job sites.

Stockpile capping is a great use of polymers. There are no contaminates such as tarps or organics from erosion control blankets on the stockpile when it’s time to use your stockpiled material.
