Separo`s Industrial Waste Services (IWS) Division specialises in the supply of high-quality decanter-centrifuge based systems for the treatment of wet waste such as sludge and associated effluent.

As a result of modular design, our treatment systems can accommodate projects of any scale, scope and complexity. With our roots firmly in the oil and gas industry, we are specialists in the supply of equipment designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

To date, Separo has processed over 1/2 million m3 of industrial waste sludge and in the process reduced the volume requiring offsite disposal by an average of 90%.

Subject to the nature of the waste stream our systems will typically comprise: 

• Holding tanks and feed pump(s)
• Pre-treatment (screening, heating & homogenisation)
• Chemical conditioning (flocculation & coagulation)
• Primary solid-liquid separation
• Solids conveyance system
• Secondary separation / effluent treatment
• Safety interlocks, audiovisual alarms and auto shutdown
• Local exhaust ventilation
