Soil Vapor Extraction involves applying a vacuum to contaminated soils to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The process is known by different names (SVE and Soil Vacuum Extraction, for example), and it can include variations that remove groundwater along with vapors (in processes known as High Vacuum SVE, Multi-Phase Extraction, or Dual Phase Extraction).
Envent will work with your team to conduct a pilot test to determine if these remediation techniques can be effective at your spill site. If the answer is “yes,” we will then assist you in designing a complete system for your site.
