GZA provides technical assistance to clients by addressing the appropriate management of hazardous waste, `special waste,` non regulated solid waste, and used oil. GZA`s technical specialists use their knowledge of federal and state regulations and policy to recommend the most appropriate and cost sensitive waste management options. Guidance is provided to clients with respect to state specific rules including labeling, training, contingency and response planning, storage and inspection requirements, manifesting, record-keeping and reporting, DOT shipping requirements, etc. Management practices for non-regulated wastes are also provided to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and restrictions associated with designated disposal facilities.
