SoundPLAN - Sports and Leisure Noise

The planning and operation of sports and leisure facilities has a high potential for conflict with the neighbourhood. The facilities are mainly used during the noise-sensitive periods, the evening hours and at weekends. The noise that can be expected of residents is regulated in the Sports Facilities Noise Protection Ordinance (18. BImSchV) and the Leisure Noise Directive of the countries.

• Sound engineering consulting for the planning of sports and leisure facilities;
• Sound engineering expertises on the existence, modification, new construction or expansion of sports and leisure facilities in accordance with the Sports Facilities Noise Protection Ordinance or the Leisure Noise Directive;
• Drafting of sound insulation concepts;
• Noise level measurements at existing facilities or at events.
