The Norwegian NGRP waste treatment terminal comprises an integrated storage and treatment facility for waste- water at the NorSea Base in Tananger, operating as SART (SAR Treatment AS).Waste-water can be received by the SART facility by ship or road tanker. The facility is located at the main bunkering quay (quay 5) at the Norse base. From this berth, waste-water is transferred directly to the onshore SART tanks. Stations for bunkering and wet and dry bulk loading are also available. Most popular related searches

Total onsite storage capacity is 2.300m3 but more storage can be provided if required. Water is transferred from incoming storage tanks to the water treatment buffer tank and treated by a chemical/physical flotation process. In this process, oil-suspended particles and oil dissolved in water are captured in a stable chemical floc.Flocs are later removed by sedimentation or flotation and the clean water is analysed for correct PH prior to release into the sea. The treatment capacity is 10 cubic meters / hour. Higher discharge pumping rates are also available.
The NATURE process is not sensitive to external air temperature.
Our engineered small footprint solutions include:
- Chemical/physical treatment of waste-water
- Biological treatment of waste-water
- Treatment of drilling fluids
- Treatment of oily solids
- Treatment of low-level radioactive wastewaters
